This
route stands out some options of the expressive Rio Grande
colonial. Wonderful landscapes, local sceneries and events
with characteristic accent and imcomparable tastes. The access
is provileged by the short distance from Porto Alegre ( the
state capital) and by the excellent roads conditions.
In
the menu we can find delicious breads, cakes, cookies, fruits
without pesticides, straight from the trees. It is possible to
taste “cachaça”, varied liquers,
strawberries produced in the greenhouse, cheese and wine.
Besides knowing the local culinary the visitors can also learn
the history of the state concerning its formation.
And
there is much more like teas, elixirs, phytotherapy and
the production and improvement of plants as well. By
train, we visit some interesting places like a cave with
archeological excavations. Making a reservation, visitors can
stay in welcoming places, enjoy typical “café
colonial”, also go fishing and ride a boat for pleasure.
